New Jersey casinos: Fantasy sports betting to be a part very soon

New Jersey State Officials have decided that they are going to allow Atlantic City Casinos to provide their players with fantasy sports betting. This is going to be a part of the pilot scheme, which is going to get announced in this week itself.

Gaming Enforcement Division of New Jersey is going to ask the casinos to start accepting the entry fees from their players. They can pay out the winnings from their cash cages.

About the regulation, full details are yet to be disclosed. It is believed that they will be out during the later part of the week. However, online gambling association is expecting that it will be organized.

Players would be allowed to select athletes from the available options, have a check on how are they performing and then compete with the fantasy teams of other gamblers. Players, who are going to have the best statistical total, will end up winning the cash prizes.

Joe Brennan, who is the President of Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association, has said, “Fantasy option will give them the option of depositing money and then play fantasy games on a daily basis. Here, they will have the option to pick a particular number of players from NBA, MLS and NFL for building an aggregate roaster on a daily basis.”

With little details available, it is yet to be known whether the fantasy bets will have the scope to get placed online, or the players might be required to go in person to the casino and place it.
